The Maldives Marine Expo 2025, the country’s longest-running and largest marine event, is set to conclude tomorrow, after a successful four-day run. Organized by the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM), the 10th edition brought together leading industry players and international exhibitors to showcase cutting-edge marine products and innovations.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mr. Mohamed Saeed, inaugrated the event which featured top exhibitors such as Ocean Group Maldives, Jalboot Group, Dive RAID Maldives, Marinedo Pvt Ltd and Marine Vibe.
The expo serves as a vital platform for displaying internationally recognized marine technologies, including boats, boat-building advancements, spare parts, machinery, fishing gear, diving and watersports equipment.
Key figures in attendance included Minister of Fisheries & Ocean Resources Mr. Ahmed Shiyam, Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture & Heritage Mr. Ahmed Naseer, STO Chairman Mr. Amir Mansoor, Maldives State Shipping MD Mr. Ahmed Shareef and Minister of Tourism & Environment Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim.
The event’s highlights include displays of modern marine equipment and vessels, booths dedicated to sustainable and eco-friendly solutions, and networking opportunities for industry professionals. Workshops, panel discussions and seminars led by experts shall provide valuable insights with a strong focus on green technologies and sustainable practices shaping the future of the marine sector.
